WHMIS

This course will guide you through all aspects of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), from the classifications to Safety Data Sheets. This course has been designed to comply with the new Global Harmonized Systems (GHS) regulations.

WHMIS training is required by law for anyone working with or around Hazardous Materials. You should check with your employer to see whether or not you need WHMIS training. Proof of completion is provided upon successful completion.

While all efforts have been made to ensure that the training meets regulatory requirements, site-specific hands-on training is often required to cover job site-specific training requirements. Trainees need to be able to recognize hazard symbols, recognize and interpret product labels, know about GHS Regulations, and learn where to go to get more information on hazardous products.
